What Is The National Brokerage Network?

The NBN is a network of, we hope, dynamic local networks of folk who are committed to supporting people to use all the resources available to them to grow the rounded lives they really want rather than diluted service-dependent alternatives the needs-based system tends to effect.

The National Brokerage Network (NBN) is a therefore a 'Network of Regional Networks' that has been set up to act as an information exchange and an authoritative voice for the development of Brokerage throughout the UK.

The NBN aims to represent the views and interests of the diverse support broker movement with key politicians and policy makers.

We hope to bring the expertise of our local networks together in order to build and grow an authoritative body,which can provide strong leadership, drive and guidance in development of Support Brokerage.

The NBN has developed a five-day training programme with independent accreditation which is delivered by members of the Network in many regions.

How is the National Brokerage Network organised?

The NBN is a Community Interest Company (registered as the Support Brokerage Network). We have a federated structure with direct links to regional groups with each having a designated co-ordinator.
